Runescape crashing

I am trying to play runescape, but every now and again I get a white screen. I havent tried to fix it. The solution is a simple refresh. How'd I make it so it wouldnt happen in the first place? Thanks!

P.S: My aghanistan village betas will go out this week and a release next week, should be final release. Then it will be off to snowland!

Have you tried updating your browser and java?

Java yes, browser no. I will try that now. It seems to fairly stable, its just the odd time when im in the middle of doing something important (ie quests.)
