Here's the awesome model by HapSlash, originally made for the game Jedi Knight: Academy. Darth_Z? decided to convert it to XSI, and from there I could clean up the model, merge and connect the parts, and most requiring: rig/weld/envelope the model.

Anyhow, you can download him here:

Google Drive

Here you see a pic of him in MshViewer:

Make sure to credit HapSlash

This is awesome! Any chance of an Episode 3 Anakin too?

I think we have to get Hapslash's permission on that one, remember, Mande didn't make this, he just rigged it.

I'd be careful on this one -- HapSlash was nice enough to let us use him, so if you're going to reskin him, it needs to be a 100% new character skin, not just a cheap recolor. I don't know about now, but Hap used to be fairly protective of his work, so we should respect that.

Really amazing to see this guy for SWBF... HapSlash's models have always been incredibly good. I hope he gives permission for some of his other characters to be ported.

True, he included some nice JKA skin'sets' like a bewildered Obi-Wan. It's really nice, with fuzzy hair and dirty cloth. Besides that he released also a blue, and red variant on the clothing. If you guys want I can upload those; those are all made by HapSlash himself.

I don't think it actually needs a new skin, it looks so accurate, maybe just a face more bright.

He looks a bit like he was out in the sun too long, ingame he's even darker, so making him a tad brighter isn't a bad idea, I might send HS a email about that to see if I can.

I've been on the Void (his base of operations) for quite awhile (longer than GT). I know he is quite protective of his work, but I can't help but have the mindset that if 'it's released to the community, it should be free game' as it's a SW related item, thus we should technically be asking Lucas Arts/Lucas film if we could use it, but meh.

I do agree that asking permission is common courtesy, but I am merely throwing out what I was thinking. And I personally think 'credit' should be good enough, but apparently lots of people don't see it that way. And who honestly cares what I think?

Just giving my two cents, not arguing or anything. ^^ Great model port here! :D

I can understand this point, but then again if you cheese off the guy who created the model/textures then all that does is guarantee they'll never produce any more models. And IMO, there aren't that many modellers of HapSlash's skill level to begin with.

Plus the real issue I think is that there are those who modify someone else's original work and end up trying to take more credit than they deserve for the modified character (like repacking the item and calling it "ModderXYZ's JKA Obi-Wan" as if they were the creator). That's probably where HapSlash's protectiveness of his work stems from - I know I wouldn't be happy if someone repacked my stuff and put their name prominently on it after only making a few modest changes.
