Leia did NOT use the DL-44. At least, not on the Tantive. And the DL44 AIN't a sporting blaster.

I am here to remedy that. Today I present, the Defender Sporting Blaster!

Another ref pic: Well since I alrdy made the CDEF pistol, it is quite surprising that it is derived from this very blaster. It was just a matter of reskinning and adding lots more detail. Figures

NOTE: I know it doesn't fit Leia's hand. Use an .option file if you equip it for her then.

I think its too big, because leia's finger isn't even in the trigger, I'd move it down a bit, try to position the gun based on there the knuckle of your first finger would be when you are holding it, then scale it to about .89 and I'd be good to go.

Leia's (girl model) hands are petite. I designed this to encompass the majority of models(i based it off a clone trooper) which are mostly male. I know, irony of all that being dessigned for Leia I can't I must give it to the majority of male based model's out there which OBVIOUSLY don't include Leia.

U need it smaller for Leia, use an option file . Better tell that in first post...

And on another hand... I DID shorten that long barrel. That picture is slightly outdated . I shortened it about 10-20 minutes after initial release, so I doubt anyone got the longer one. If you have fears, just redownload

Honestly I thought its ok since nothing else is changed except the length of the barrel(the stuff and cosmetics on the barrel have no changes except on positioning)

Guess I can't escape, gonna work on a second picture, taken with a MALE.

It seems like in the last few comments of mine on your models, one of us is coming off wrong on the other, because you seem to be talking my criticism in an insulting way, which I don't mean it, I'm just giving you suggestions on how to perfect the model, since I know a lot of people will notice that it seems to be a little off, and that just degrades the quality of the model to them. I'm not trying to tell you that your models suck until you fix them, but that's what it seems to sound like you are interpreting it as in your replies to my post, so if I came across to harshly, I'm sorry, I'm just trying to give you tips on how to perfect the model, so once again, I apologize.

Any who, SWG had these out the bantha's rear! I mean the CDEF variant without the big modified barrel. They were everywhere. I know I was forced to use one in the starts of my characters, but I mean....sheesh. I'm not dissing the model...just saying...I've seen it way too much in SWG and I kinda wanna run away from it. It is a great model, I can say that much. It's not your fault I've been around too much Sporting Blasters and CDEF pistols in SWG. lol

Hehe I know what you mean, they make a new sport out of recycling models.

The CDEF is INDEED the starter weapon. No matter what you will get it first. Quite haunting.... but for me I never seen it again. Rifleman after all.
