Mark all messages

Hi,
i just wantet to order my messages and started with deleting old ones. It would be much easier if there is a Mark all function. So that all messages shown on page x are marked and you can delete them at all.
NOT DELTET THE WHOLE INBOX!!
would be great if you can do something like that
