No offense, it just looks like a compilation of other mods put together without permission.

I'm pretty sure that this was the mod that I was told not to download/install because it was just a bunch of pirated (shiver me timbers) things put together and wasn't even that good of a mod. Not to mention that it may have viruses packed in it.

Anyone know if this guy actually made any money off this? Seeing as how he always brought "his" project to gaming events, wouldn't the events have to pay him or at least give him something?

He took assets from other people, crammed them together with stolen levels, did a few movies, packed in the original assets from JKA to make the file seize bigger, threw in a trojan according to some Anti-Virus programs.. and whamo there you have it, KOTF.

If you like it then play it as much as you want, it's already out and available which makes any bickering and complaining about KotF at this point redundant, so enjoy it and have fun, with FUN being the primary goal.

If you think LucasArts, LucasFilm and RavenSoft didn't know about this mod with as much publicity that it has received over the last 5 years then i'd say you're insane.
I'm sure they have "people" to keep tabs on these things and if they thought for a second that this mod was somehow a threat to them or their copyrights then it would have been shut down a long time ago, if they see nothing illegal going on then neither should you.
Leave the legalities to the lawyers and play on!

And, (though a bit off topic) this mod is small potatoes to them. The game is basically dead to Lucasarts since it's 5 years old. Ifs there were issues they were worried about they'd send out a cease-and-desist. You still need to watch yourself for moral reasons, but I wouldn't worry about this mod. It's got ripped stuff from other community members, but from what I understand no stolen content from other games.

That is one of the best mods i have ever played. Really really awesome.
