Do i really need to say who is the man of steel?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3hOoIV-tIw <- can you embeded this please,staff?

I'm sure it'll be great, it's the same producer as the dark knight trilogy: Christopher Nolan and the same awesome composer: Hans Zimmer.
I loved the dark knight trilogy, looking forward to this one.

Lol Howard Shore. Looks neat though. :o

EDIT:

Oh, Superman... Maybe this one will be done well... :| Actually, meh, I've never really watched all of any of them. I've just never really cared for them I guess. :o

I think Snyder is going to screw this movie up horribly. Maybe it will look cool, but it will be glamour over crap, nothing more.

I hate Zach Snyder. I'm really not one to easily hate either. I've seen all of his crappy films. 300 is his best work and that's saying something (it's not very good). Watchmen is a joke. Sucker Punch is just insulting. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole was alright at best, mediocre at worst. The original Dawn of the Dead was better.

I wish Hans hadn't been dragged into this, but let's face it, his score might be the best thing to come out of this.

That's my opinion anyway.

Snyder is better at visuals than he is at directing. For instance, his persistent use of slow motion really makes his action scenes suffer. My hopes for Man of Steel aren't too high but I hope he can pull it off. The teaser is promising, at least.

Well, at least Nolan is producing it...

That summarized my opinion. No slow motion action, except for at critical points, and that shouldn't be slower than 3 seconds. I hope he pulls it off too.

I'm really hoping Nolan can help lead to some sort of middle ground. Personally, slow motion is better than the crazy quick cuts everyone is doing now, which makes it hard to figure out what's going on. The fight scenes in TDKR were really good in that respect, because you saw each hit, and the camera stayed long enough for the fights to make sense. If Nolan brings that to this movie, the fight scenes will be great.

If people recognize it maybe since LotR has nothing to do with Superman, wich
might cause some butthurt for fanatic fans.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Superman vs. Balrog could be an interesting fight...

The Fellowship of the Ring Soundtrack - The Bridge of Khazad Dum
Also the reason you hear The Lord of The Rings Soundtrack is because Hans Zimmer just started doing the score for the film. <- It was written in one of the trailers on youtube.

It's just that the selection they used came from a very poignant part of the film. Seeing it out of context is just weird for me. :?
Back on topic:
I was not crazy about the last Superman films. But since Nolan and Zimmer will be working on it, I'm looking forward to watching it. :)

No, it's not. This happens in a lot of film trailers, for instance: Avatar.

Actually, Heart of Courage was made as trailermusic, while The Bridge of Khazad Dûm is part of a movie's score. Hearing it in a different scene than the one it originaly belongs to feels... awkward.

Like Bob said, Two Steps From Hell makes trailer music, that's their job. TSFH has been used in at least one trailer for every Mass Effect game for instance.

Just like to point out that *Howard Shore scored Jackson's Lord of the Rings films.

That's what I had been thinking, but I think what Lephenix meant was that Hans Zimmer, the composer for Man of Steel, had just started scoring the film, so they couldn't do original OST music (which they hardly ever use in trailers)

Yes, that's what i wanted to say. By the way, what do you think of the new trailer? I like it and i'm looking forward to see it, i love Hans Zimmer and i loved Christopher Nolan's dark knight trilogy.
