Well, you heard it right. Miley Cyrus is rapping up her 3rd season of Hannah Montana. Based on what Disney said, she is giving up her rock star life and returning hometown in Tennessee. To be honest, I am a little disappointed to see her leave because I've always kinda pictured her as being the sort of "big sister" to all the other female Disney stars like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Emily Osment. I've never been a fan of Hannah but I've heard some good songs out Miley like one of her biggest ones "The Climb". If you haven't heard it yet, I would go look it up since its a really great song. Alright, I guess that's it. I'll give you guys some more info when the time comes.
Now, discuss.

Good for her, she needs to rethink her life.

Total "I don't give a [Diet Doctor Pepper]." I find almost all of her songs to be on the cliched side.

For what, exactly? She got famous and popular, her own movie and TV show. I can't think why anyone would want to rethink their life after that, unless they hate all the people who end up crowding them because of their celebrity status.

Excellent, now...
You will fade into obscurity like Hillary Duff.

Well...
I think I recall something comparing Miley's development to that of...who was it again...Paris Hilton? No...Lindsey Lohan?
Some star-diva...

Somewhere A bunch of munchkins are singing a song about the end of her contract with disney...
And she will fade to obsucrity pretty quickly. Just as hair metal went down the tubes in the early 90's, plastic pop will give way to another genre this decade.
And if you think about it, singers fading into obscurity is one of the hallmarks of a new decade. Out with the old, in with the new.

Hey, sure she's not that great of an actress but that's no reason to call her a witch.

You, sir, have won the internet.
But all Disney Channel stars leave once they turn 18 anyway. That's why in five or six years Selena Gomez will no longer be making Disney Channel original movies (and for the better). Same with Justin Beiber or whatever his name is.

I don't know her personal life (maybe she's already done it) but maybe this means she won't get into sex and drugs, and other crap.
Which would be a good thing.

I'd prefer that to selling your soul to Disney. I stick by the South Park episode about the Jonas Brothers, same goes for Cyrus. Hope the gal can have a semi-normal life after this.

The first time I heard about Miley Cyrus was while watching Oprah. I had gotten very excited about her and her dad as a musical couple, the live song she sang with her dad on the acoustic guitar sounded great.
Then, when I saw fragments of the Hannah Montana show in English, I was like "that seems like a good show", because, you know, it's meant for kids and my little sister got even more excited.
The moment I started to dislike the show was when they started to broadcast it in a badly lip-synced Dutch version. The voice acting of the voice actors iss horribly remote and horribly out of sync. Now, that usually wouldn't bother me, but my sister DID like the show anyway, so I hear it constantly, since she's also continuously watching parts on Youtube. I must see that I do like some parts of the show, but only when they show the original English version, because I think some of the more "sketch" like parts with "hannah montana"'s brother and that little kid are very well done.
I hope that, now that she'll be going from Disney, we may get to hear some of that great voice talent (because, in that Oprah show, her voice came out way better than in the show), with serious songs that actually tell about something real.

Um, no actually. Kevin Jonas is in his early 20s AND MARRIED and yet still doing Disney.

We don't like him, so it's quite irrelevant.

I don't see how the fact that you don't like him makes it irrelevant. Not that I do like him, but that doesn't really make it irrelevant in my opinion.

Well, good to see that she's leaving. I hope that if she decides to keep making music that it turns out to be good. Disney tends to not allow good music. And anyone noticed how as soon as people leave disney, they grow a mustache? That oughta be interesting.

Oh, yep. She'll be going for the big handlebars.
No other mustache would work.
She could try a Hitler mustache, but thats kind of stretching it.
