Dark Knight gets my vote again.
Just saw Tropic Thunder yesterday, loved it
Lots of language though, didn't expect that, but I loved that one scene...

Hard to choose. There were a lot of great movies. The ones I loved the most were...
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Hellboy II: The Golden Army
Wanted (I wasn't expecting to like this one)
Pineapple Express
Tropic Thunder
Wall-E
Step Brothers was pretty funny, too, but all of the other movies I saw weren't particularly memorable. I'm going to buy the above and hold off on buying Indy IV until the inevitable quadrilogy box set comes out.
Speaking of box sets, they're releasing a Prequel Trilogy box set and another OT box set in November.

No details yet but unless these have some really good special features then I'm gonna stick with the DVD's I already have.

Those are just rereleases of old material. Same old song and cash grab.

Seriously? How many box sets are there of the OT now?

"Horton Hears a Who" was good. Very funny.
Indy was great.
Speedracer sucked. Badly.
Narnia was good, even though they changed the story a lot.
But in the end, Dark Knight gets my vote.

That's not exactly a fair assessment. Technologically it was very impressive (some of the cinematic techniques they used were very innovative), and even those who didn't enjoy the movie should at least acknowledge that positive aspect.
Personally, I thought it was hilarious and pretty enjoyable. I actually had a better time watching that movie than I did any other movie this summer.

Point. Visual effects were very nice. Although at one point I had to close my eyes because of all the flashing. Basically it was a DannBoeing map.
Costumes and acting on the other hand could use some work.
Also, I didn't like the monkey.

I actually thought the strengths of the movie weren't related to its flashiness, but rather with the acting. They played the tropes of the original show very straight, and it was almost like watching a live-action version of the original cartoon. It was as faithful as I've ever seen any cartoon/comic-book adaptation, and I think that's what I liked.

The Dark Knight is my favorite. (I only saw that and Clone Wars, so The Dark Knight is clearly Superior)

Alright, that's my problem; I'd never seen or heard of Speed Racer before this movie. If I had seen a few of the cartoons, I probably would have appreciated it more.
Nim's Island was okay. Jodie Foster did a great job as a perfectionist/agoraphobic.

The only new movie I saw this summer was Prince Caspian. It was okay.

Of the summer? The Dark Knight truly is the best movie of all time! Seen it 4 times, once in IMAX and i'm going in for a 5th.
