I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet. I went to the late night show with some friends and thought it was pretty good. Not as good as Iron Man, but pretty darn good. I was thoroughly entertained. I definitely liked it a lot more than the 2003 movie. Boy was that awful.

8/10

Oh gosh...it hurt to watch the 2003 Hulk. I'd like to see this one though. They picked better actors and, from what I've seen, a better storyline.

UGH! The 2003 version was awful! I plan to see it sometime!

I haven't seen it yet but by the previews it looks 10 times better than the old one, I hated the first one it was so lame :faint:

I tend to agree with a lot of the reviews on this one - Marvel did a complete 360 with this. Where before it was pensive, now it's heavyhanded. Where before it was an internal struggle, now it's an external struggle. There might be a better middle ground between this one and the earlier version (which I haven't seen, so I have no real basis of comparison other than hearing others' opinions), but I didn't go to watch this to expect anything more than "Hulk Smash." Which I got. That was sufficient.

Supposedly Norton's original cut had a lot more focusing on the internal struggle but the 'powers that be' wanted those to be trimmed out in order to keep the run-time down and make the film more action-packed.

Shorter movie = more showings = more money.

But hopefully the original cut will be released on DVD. I was more than satisfied with the theatrical release (though I honestly wasn't expecting much) but I think a little more drama and insight into the characters can only improve the film.
