This guy does some really cool stuff with Wiimotes
His Wii Projects website
He has figured out, using the wii remote and His PC, how to:
Get the Wiimote to track your fingers
Track your head, and change how a 3D image looks based on your perspective
Make an interactive whiteboard using a projector
Watch the Videos on the site, they're so cool!

The finger one is cool, but the HeadTracking and Whiteboard ones are amazing!

It's not Hacking, the Wii uses bluetooth. I looked at the tutorial to use the Wiimote with the PC, and it's not that difficult at all.
