What'cha watching?
I suppose you could consider this a spin-off of the What'cha listening to? thread. Post any movies or shows you've watched recently!
For me, I've watched the following films this month, all of which I watched for the first time (items in bold are REALLY good and a definite must-watch in my opinion):
-Au revoir les enfants (1987)
-Judgment at Nuremberg (1961)
-The Breakfast Club (1985)
-Boyhood (2014)
-Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
-Jaws 2 (1978)
-Divergent (2014)
-Poltergeist (1982)
-The Waters of Mars (2010)
-The End of Time (2010)
-Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills (1996)
-The Shining (1980)
-Full Metal Jacket (1987)
-Night of the Living Dead (1968)
-The Birds (1963)
I started to watch Stanley Kubrick's The Killing (1956) last night but got too tired to finish it so I'll likely finish it later. Later today/tonight I'm going to watch Psycho (1960) and then either Vertigo (1958) or The Omen (1976).
As for shows, I recently started watching Boardwalk Empire (2010-2014); I'm currently catching up on Archer (2009-), Doctor Who (2005-) (just finished up David Tennant! WAAAAAHHH! D:) and Law & Order (1990-2010); and I recently started re-watching Breaking Bad (2008-2013) with my younger cousin who hasn't yet seen it. I'm also finishing up Band of Brothers (2001) and 24 (2001-2010, 2014), and I'm excited for and ready to watch Sunday's season finale of The Leftovers (2014-).
Additionally, I showed the following to my younger cousins for their first time (bold thing applies here, too):
-Léon the Professional (1994)
-Jaws (1975)
-Alien (1979)
-Aliens (1986)
-The Terminator (1984)
-Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) (my personal favorite film of all time)
-Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
-Terminator Salvation (2009)
-2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
One could say that August has been a sort of "movie month" for me.
Obviously you don't have to go into this much depth as to what you've watched recently, but you can if you want of course.

Re: What'cha watching?
I'm currently rewatching The Pacific and watching Carrier for the first time, the documentary about the USS Nimitz. Not simultaneously, obviously, alternating a couple episodes here and there. I'd usually put hyper links, but code buttons still don't work on this theme and I'm too lazy to do it manually.
If I were to list what anime I'm watching, it'd be easier to post my MAL. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/THEWULFMAN
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pacifi ... iniseries)

Re: What'cha watching?
Welp, just finished watching Psycho. I was NOT expecting that twist at the end, I tell ya' wut. 1:0 Absolutely fantastic movie. Heh, I freaking loved the musical score.
Great, now I wanna watch Bates Motel!
EDIT:
Heh. Just watched the 1976 version of The Omen. Pretty good movie. The ending was kind of...well "crap!" lol (reaction-/plot-wise, not quality-wise).

Re: What'cha watching?
A few I watched last month (something I do rarely): Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Apocalyspe Now (1979), Corpse Party: Tortured Souls (2013), oh and a channel is currently rerunning Space: 1999 (1975), I find it darn good. Don't watch it if you're in a hurry, however...

Heho, classic Noobasaur... I still need to catch up on The Last Airbender. Luckily it's on Amazon Instant Video!
Watched The Heat (Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy) last night on HBO with my mom and cousins. Love that movie, it's freakin hilarious.

Re: What'cha watching?
Just finished watching Luther, which I highly recommend if you like thrillers/dramas. Some of the side characters/plots are a little cliche, but the series as a whole is fantastic and the main character interactions are spectacular.

The Korra ones are also on Amazon if you don't like watching on Nick.

Re: What'cha watching?
Speaking of Nick, in case nobody here is aware, there's a site called Nick Reboot that streams old Nickelodeon 90s and early 00s shows (and commercials!) all day and night just like an actual television channel! It's freakin' awesome!

Re: What'cha watching?
Just watched American Psycho (2000) (starring Christian Bale) for the first time. I...don't know what to say or even how to respond. All I know now is that I can never look at Batman the same.
