Geonosis Competition

Due to the recent increase of Geonosis maps I wanted to have a geonosis map competition the maps cannot be in any later than Friday June 22nd and voting starts the next day and goes to Monday July 30th, 2007. This is only for geonosis maps. Good luck to everyone in advance.

Doesn't seem to me that he can do that. Only admins can. I think.

well what more info can I guve you post em and gt members vote on them I will set up a poll when I start getting maps and if ppl aren't finished I'll push back the end date.

yeah y am i not allowed to do this I thought It would be cool because there are a lot of geo maps coming out and I've never heard of a non admin making a competition

You can do it.

I'd suggest extending the deadline date firstly and then start the voting after you have all the maps in. For instance starting the voting on the 28th seems slightly pointless as you can (by your rules) still submit maps up until the 30th.

But then again it's all up to you, run it how you wish

yes ep3 geonosis is acceptable the map just has to be in a geonosis environment (sides do not matter)

why dont we mark this on the gametoast calendar. The end of May will forever be known as the Era of Geonosis. By celebrating we can hold geonosis map servers from 7th of May to the end of May. (or not as this time is exam days

) And yeah whats with the geonosis fever lately, a geonosis map is big and i doubt it is that easy to make

This is kind of off topic but what I really mean is there are quite some Ep III battle reference maps in works like Mygeeto: Storm, your Kashyyyk and others. I'm not so sure about the amount of maps but if there is loads, won't it be better to make all of these into The Episode III mappack?

Or better yet, a map pack for realistic battles throughout the saga. (Hoth, Battle over Coruscant, Felucia, to name a few)

Hey yeah, Jawa_Killer is already on works with a more realistic Battle of Naboo and your Hoth map add in with 2 Battle of Geonosis map and Schizo's Battle of Saleucami. Its endless

I think we should have a pack for the "lesser" planets like the ones that aren't in BF2 or 1. Like Dathomir, Xagobah, Ord Cetrius etc. If you haven't heard of those ones thats because there "lesser"
