Due to the sheer number of bugs and the fact that I've simply lost interest in working on the pack:
No new content (except Sora Bulq as a CIS hero) will be added to future versions. Bug fixes only I'm afraid. But the pack is already chock full of goodness so I don't feel too bad.
Sorry to disappoint, but it's time for me to move on.

Noooooooooooo!
Hehe, thats ok. There are so many crashes and unlocalizations that once it's finished, it will be like there IS more content.

Well your newest pack was good (4/5) so that is a good final anyway we know you can make maps 10X as good as them in the future so I am fine but how do you get the Bespin and Rhen Var did you make them or were they in assets because I can't find them
Anyway we will always remember BF1conversionpack as the greatest map pack made

Well it's an incredibly big project and one person can't do it all. Thank you for what you have put in and well, how much more else can you actually put in that you haven't already done?

You've done enough of a job. This pack had more content then we could have ever imagined. You have no right to be sorry. This was a fantastic job and will be appreciated.

If you manage to fix all/most of the bugs that would be rediculusly (SP?) satasfactory (SP) in itself!
Kudos... (sp? lol)

Actually I'm glad your'e finally doing this.
I've actually been looking forward more to bug fixes than a bunch of half-finished maps put together. I'd rather have 30 finished maps than 50 unfinished

Aww,
I guess this means there wont be any Prince Xizor as a hero. I was kind of looking forward to that.
But I understand, Teancum, you poured so much of your time, and heart into this, that the end result was more than anyone coud have hoped for. And truely, you are one of the nicest people for having modded this mappack and not asked for anything in return. I hope fate rewards you for bringing so much joy to other people.
thank you Teancum

It was supposed to be a conversion pack, but man, you put a LOT of extra in it. Too much to name, really. It's got to stop sometime, it'll never be finished if you'd keep on adding new stuff
So I'm actually kinda glad you made this decision, cause now you can squeeze dem bugs without adding new things that come with more bugs to squeeze
And you already added the things I wanted. And
way more
So good luck, the final version's gonna be awesome

Hey, I'll admit I just came for the classic maps, and ended up with more. So can't really complain if you ax it once it's not as buggy.

Yes! I thought this was the thread where you'd say you were just dropping it and would forget about it.
In fact, I though you already had. It's awesome that you're going to kill those Diet Dr. Pepper bugs.
As for new content, well, one could always kill all non essential processes and services one night, and run 7-zip on the source. (tip:choose max compression your ram can handle and don't use solid compression-if that doesn't work, looks like one data folder at a time. . .) NO PRESSURE. In fact, forget this until it's relevant.
TY GJ Tean.

I'm not worried. Tean, you've done a great job. I think the bugfixes are the most important things. Too many new content will cause more bugfixes, this is the right thing to do.

Teancum, you have done enough, you are doing a great job, and real life comes first. Don't worry 'bout it. I won't. I'm content with all we have.
And look anyway guys, we were lucky he went this far, so I think Tean deserves a big thank you!

I had figured you lost interest, I would have months ago had it not been for the random new maps/units that needed tweaking.
Maybe you should just take a break from it after 1.9 (or whatever the next one(s) will be called), think about what you want to do for the final, finish it the way you wanted, and then release 2.0
The bad thing is, most of these memory bugs were caused by the clone legions. Each one is the size of a normal map. I may sound hypocritical by saying this (because I was the one who convinced you to use them) but I think what this needs is an ingame legion. I'd suggest the Phase 1 skins, but if you don't want to use them (I know how hard it is to change units) that's fine.

No!!! Okay, I'm a little bummed that there won't be a Yuzzon Vong mod and a couple other things, but I'm not going to stop you. Frankly, if you just made a simple map pack a couple months ago, I would've been happier than a drug addict in a cocaine factory. Battlefront has doubled in size, with some mods that should've been in there in the first place!! I just can't beleive it's almost over.
