Sorry if this was in the wrong section I am new here, but I can't seem to play in the KoToR mode for the conversion pack. I know that the help me guide told me go to a specific fourm but the link couldn't bring me there. If anyone can help me that would be great!

Did you install the patch 1.3?

I have not, how would you do that? I apoligize for the simple questions for you guys but to me who just started out mods for BF last night, isn't too simple for me so again, I apoligize for the hassle.

So, the instructions for the 1.3 patch isnt that great. My menu batch file wont open, it apears for roughly half a second and then goes away. Any idea why this may be happening?

Did you make sure it was in the right folder? Also, if you downloaded the lite version, use lite-menu.bat instead.

r117 won't work on Windows 7 or 8, and r129 is more up-to-date, anyway.

I downloaded the new patch you gave me, and it all downloaded extremly quickly, and I started playing. The first match I played was with the CW on the endar spire and it was fine. Then I got to GCW part, and i spawned in as Lowbacca and my game crashed any idead what happened?

It sounds like you didn't install the latest version of the Conversion Pack. There's an order of install here:

Conversion Pack 2.0 (That's the main download)
Conversion Pack 2.2 Patch (That's a patch, and what you experienced is one of the bugs fixed in the 2.2 patch)
Unofficial 1.3 Patch

I got the 2.0 pack, the 2.2 patch, and the new link for the Patch for the conversion patch. I'm not sure if i did download the new conversion link right though. Does it have to do with the fact i am running on windows 8 and on steam?


EDIT: I tryed out the edar spire on KOTOR and it worked just fine. The heros and every thing. So thanks for the help everybody! If i run into a problem i'll just say it here.

I was specifically addressing your issue with the GCW hero on Endar Spire (there was a memorypool error in the 2.0 release that was corrected in the 2.2 patch). There's not an endemic problem with the map, just one with that particular mode.

I had downloaded the patch, though i may have downloaded wrong. Also Raxus Prime crashes but that may be because i download the patch wrong.

I think it may just be an automactic assumption because most people have windows 7/8 but it's no problem you didnt know neither did he.

I knew why it was happening. That happens if you have Win7/8.
