Convo Pack: The Maps

Hey, just wondering, when you guys first released the conversion pack, how did you get the maps to look exactly like the ones from BF1?? Did you just copy the maps from BF1 and converted them to BF2 or did you have to make them from scratch?? Cuz to me they look exactly like the ones from BF1.
