PLEASE NOTE: These bugs are from the 1.8.4 Phoenix beta and up. KotOR era bugs are not included but will be for future releases. Please be sure to read the key (click the SHOW button) to find out what the colors mean.

DO NOT report version 1.9 bugs.

I do not have my versions of the source files for most maps. As such it’s doubtful I will be making geometry-based updates to them unless there is a major issue
If you see **** next to a bug, it’s probably either going to get ignored or isn’t considered a bug


RED = Crash-related errors
(Crashes)= It loads at least some then crashes.
(FATAL)=A crash with “Could not open XXX_XXX.lvl” error


ORANGE = Unplayable errors
These errors are ones where the level loads, but the mode will not work correctly


PURPLE = sound related
Sounds could be missing
Incorrect sounds playing
No music at some point / all the time


BLUE = missing stuff
Missing Units, vehicles, etc

Sound effects for EMP bursts for both the EMP grenade and launcher are missing.
The Jet Trooper’s Jetpack is missing sound.

DN Bolt Caster is missing sound effects.
Clone Troopers have a floating grenade icon next to them in game.
All pilot classes have a floating fusion cutter icon next to them in game.
Classic Conquest: The Rebel Vanguard doesn’t use snow outfit on winter maps
Clone Troopers have EMP Grenades and Thermal Detonators instead of EMP Grenades and Concussion Grenades.
The Rebel Trooper/Stormtrooper uses the Thermal Detonator HUD icon for both their Thermal Detonators and Concussion Grenades.
Clone Troopers have a floating grenade icon next to them in game.
Vehicles all types can still ‘sprint’.


GLOBAL SIDES
The Clone Commander has an invisible jet pack. (Galactic Marines)
Kit Fisto’s saber glow is too big

Playing as Grand Admiral Thrawn, you can’t switch back from blaster rifle to blaster pistol.
The Nemodian Assassin is playable right at the start of the game instead of being unlockable by scoring a necessary amount of points.
Playing as the Yuuzhan Vong Warrior, you can’t switch back from fusion cutter to blaster pistol.
Force Bubble is missing HUD icon
Droid Commander/Recon Droid (the unit)/Empire Recon Trooper/Alliance Recon Trooper/Both Empire and Alliance Commanding Officer use the Republic Pistol HUD Weapons icon.

All Recon classes are missing the HUD icon for stealth.
Playing as Lando Calrissian, you can’t switch back from fusion cutter to blaster pistol.
Imperial Commando missing HUD icon for Concussion grenade.
All orbital strike droids are missing the HUD icon for their Orbital Strike attack.
Lando needs new DH-17 model and HUD
The Rebel Hovernaut is represented by a black box on the mini-map.

The Ep2 Clone Recon Trooper's DC-17m Sniper Rifle HUD is missing.
All Commanders are missing HUD icon for Rally.
All Special Ops Troopers are missing HUD icons for Gravity Bombs and Disguise Kit.
Bossk carries an E-11 in first person mode instead of a concussion rifle.
Concussion Rifle is unfinished (projectile hasn’t changed)

Playing as the Recon Trooper, you can’t switch back from Sniper Rifle to blaster pistol.
Remove voice lines for Komari VosaPlaying as Admiral Sarn, you can’t switch back from Blaster Rifle to blaster pistol.
The Republic Commando’s Anti-Armor, when fired in first person view, crashes the game to the desktop right when you hit the fire button.
Conquest GCW: Imperial Shuttle still crashes if I attempt to enter it.
Shaak Ti crashes the game *Memory limitations mean you can’t have her in there with lots of other heavy-animation characters
Playing as the Clone Commander (212th) freezes the game.

The Clone Recon Trooper is missing 1st person view. (212th)

The 501st's Recon Trooper and Clone Commander look out of place with RepSharpshooter's Patch 1.2 501st sides. (Create new skins/models)
Commander class: When switching weapons in the primary slot (there is only the pistol), the game will freeze if the player has the AWARD pistol.

LOCALIZATION
The geonosian and the clone guy are missing their names (Ord Ibanna Classic)
Kit Fisto’s lightsaber and Force Bubble are unlocalized.
Luminara Unduli’s lightsaber unlocalized

Re-localize Rattattak: Arena to just Rattattak (since there’s only one)

The TIE Bomber's primary weapon is proton torpedoes instead of that laser (GLOBAL/SIDE ISSUE??)

Anti-Aircraft turrets are missing sound.
Classic Conquest: CP’s have the symbol of the uncapturable CP rather than the right faction. ****

The buglist is finally online. From now on this will be the only official list.

Also, notice how we only have ONE bug that causes a crash! YAY!!!! :runaway:

Except for any vehicle-related issues, all those sound errors should be fixed with that fix I sent you. Most of them had to do with incorrectly-labeled sound calls in the .odf or .lua.

Yeah, I just haven't got down to fixing them. Plus I'm still having issues with some sound conflicts where the same sound byte gets loaded twice, nullifying every sound. I'm just going to build dedicated sound lvls for each map.

Wow, nice work with the bug squashing! That is quite a lot of fixed. :)

Anywho, since Naboo: Theed daytime Uber and Classic Conquest are still in, I'll post the problems I found with it. And here it is:

Naboo: Theed:
- CW Uber: The entire Republic side is missing sound.
- CW Uber: About the Gian Speeder's seat that fires the beam cannon: This weapon does not do any damage.
- CW Uber: The Republic Side:There are two unit classes localized as Naboo Guard. All the other unit are unlocalized.
- CW Uber: The Republic Side: - All of the unit classes’ primary weapons are unlocalized. They are also missing the HUD weapon icons.
- GCW Uber: Crashes with a "FATAL: Could not open MISSION\AT7g_uber.lvl" (This mode needs to be purge since it wasn't in v1.9)

Other bugs:

Geonosis: Spire:
- CW XL: This mode needs to be purge since it wasn't in v1.9.

Hoth:
- GCW Uber: This mode needs to be purge since it wasn't in v1.9.

General:
- The Clone Commander, Droid Commander, and the Commanding Officers of both the Empire and Rebels: When switching weapons in the primary slot (there is only the pistol), the game will freeze (I have unlock the AWARD pistol by the way).
-The weapons of the Rebel Combat Speeder varies as in on some maps:

Okay, that's just strange -- it's the same thing loaded in all those lua files. I'll check it out though.

*edit* -- looks like the Combat Speeder's weapons were loading from the SWBF2 Combat Speeder's weapons (which were loaded in the lua). I deleted the SWBF2 speeder references and fixed the problem.


*EDIT 2* --personal note - It looks like non-award weapons don't even reference MedalsTypeToUnlock or ScoreForMedalsType in either it's odf or a parent odf. So logically I just need to make dedicated odfs (no parent) for some of these weapons to kill off the bugs.

Wow, haven't posted in one of these for a while...


You got the Platforms Imperial Transport enter crash bug, right? I remember someone saying that one was still around in the last thread.


By the way, congrats on finally narrowing down the bugs to these few. It's been a while since I made that first notepad document of it. :P

- GCW Hero Assault crashes to desktop when faction is selected.

Rhen Var: Harbor:

- CW 2-Flag CTF/1-Flag CTF: Only 1 Republic tank and 1 AAT spawn instead of 2 of each.
- GCW Conquest/2-Flag CTF/1-Flag CTF/XL/Classic Conquest: The Rebel Combat Speeders (x2) and the AT-ST’s (x2) do not spawn/missing.
- GCW 1-Flag CTF: The AI’s don’t spawn.
- GCW 1-Flag CTF: This mode’s settings is under Conquest (There are reinforcement counts instead of flag-scoring counts.
- CW/GCW XL: There is a neutral command post that should go to the Republic/Alliance.
- CW/GCW XL: CP's are capturable.
- CW XL: The location of the CP’s on the mini-map/spawn map is inaccurate.
- GCW XL: The location of the CP’s on the mini-map/spawn map is big time very inaccurate.

The Reversed CP Problem - Conquest/All modes especially Classic Conquest:
- Alderaan: The CIS should start out at the CP’s in which the Republic starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Bespin: Cloud City: The Alliance should start out at the CP’s in which the Empire starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Bespin: Platforms: The Alliance should start out at the CP’s in which the Empire starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Naboo: Plains: The CIS should start out at the CP’s in which the Republic starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Rhen Var: Citadel: The CIS/Alliance should start out at the CP’s in which the Republic/Empire starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.

I've had a Word document on my hard drive for a long time. The hard part was color coding things, but I think it was worth the effort.

- GCW Conquest/2-Flag CTF/1-Flag CTF/XL/Classic Conquest: The Rebel Combat Speeders (x2) and the AT-ST’s (x2) do not spawn/missing.
- GCW 1-Flag CTF: The AI’s don’t spawn.
- GCW 1-Flag CTF: This mode’s settings is under Conquest (There are reinforcement counts instead of flag-scoring counts.
- CW/GCW XL: CP's are capturable. **XL is getting replaced later so I'll ignore this

The Reversed CP Problem - Conquest/All modes especially Classic Conquest:
- Alderaan: The CIS should start out at the CP’s in which the Republic starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Bespin: Cloud City: The Alliance should start out at the CP’s in which the Empire starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Bespin: Platforms: The Alliance should start out at the CP’s in which the Empire starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Naboo: Plains: The CIS should start out at the CP’s in which the Republic starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.
- Rhen Var: Citadel: The CIS/Alliance should start out at the CP’s in which the Republic/Empire starts out at in the beginning of the game and visa versa.

Question about GCW Classic Conquest: Does an AT-ST now spawn outside the landing bay when the Empire takes over the CP on the Sail Barge?

Tatooine: Dune Sea:
- CW Classic Conquest: The V-19 Torrent, BARC Speeders, AT-XT, and that Land Speeder are present.
- GCW Classic Conquest: The Alliance AAC-1 are present.

General:
On most maps, the recon droids of the Commander classes (both eras, all factions), their laser bolts are untextured.

That's everything, I think.

Yea, and in CW, the droids would get an AAT, for capturing the hangar.

It's GCW, I am 100% positive. It can't be CW Hero Assault since that mode is currently missing.

I remember in Battlefront I, an AT-ST will spawn but only in Instant Action and I think Galactic Conquest. It does not spawn in "Campaign" though.

I don't keep a number. Just know that number is zero in the unreleased version.
