KotOR scripts need your help!
The only job I'm still working on to get the KotOR sides in the pack is now finishing the scripts. Unfortunately, this means editing somewhere around 140 different .luas, and frankly, I don't have as much time as I'd like to work on them.
What I'd love to get is maybe four or five dedicated people - people that feel pretty comfortable working with .lua scripts - to help me get these put together. I can give all the information about what needs to be put in, I just need some help on the actual typing/data entry end, because it's just a lot of man-hours of work. If you've got the time and the wherewithal to do it, please post in here. Once I get a few people willing and able I'll divy up some of the work and get all the pertinent info (and scripts) sent out.
If you want to really be able to help out the Conversion Pack, this is a great chance. Thanks for any help!

What are we doing with the .luas?
I can do some stuff with lua's but not really a lot. I can load sides and characters, if that's what you need.
I am willing to help you

I'm willing to help as well. I've always wanted to contribute to this project, and now, since I actually have some free time lately, I believe this is my chance.

Summer is here, I'd be glad to help.
It's pretty much adding the side calls, and setting up teams and such correct?

What is it exactly that you want done. Is it the same, or almost the exact same changes for each file. If so, it might be easier to write a small script that changes all the files automatically for you.

It's essentially a copy-and-paste job of the side loadouts; it would be virtually identical for most of the files (excluding modes like hunt). The only thing that changes file-to-file would be specifically the hero setups (and who's loaded out of the heroes' .lvl file).[RDH]Zerted wrote:What is it exactly that you want done. Hm. Yeah, it sounds more like something that could be done much easier by writing a script than by hand. The heroes, I guess, would have to be added by hand, but you could save a lot of work by just doing everything else automatically.Maveritchell wrote:It's essentially a copy-and-paste job of the side loadouts; it would be virtually identical for most of the files (excluding modes like hunt). Re: KotOR scripts need your help!
So, we just set up the teams and sides and send it over? Any certain way units should be put in etc? Such as certain units on certain planets?

Yeah, I'm kindof lost on which units to put where
