Extract to \GameData\addon\BF1\data\_LVL_PC. Has 1.9 backup files right there in it. Install, report bugs.

Great to see you still working on this, Tean. Do you mind explaining exactly what this is?

Is it supposed to have all of the features of the previous 1.8.2? Or is that the highest yet?
IIRC you working on restoring the pack assets and until phoenix 1.9 then you can start moving on to 2.0, right?

Well, as far as I can tell this is 1.8.1 code, so this is version 1.8.2 of that code. Basically we're looking for bugs that were fixed in 1.9.0 but present here. That way I can crush em' and get back to current code.

No map description for:
Alderaan, Concord Dawn, Coruscant City, Geonosis: Arena, Naboo: Prototype

Typo in map description for Rhen Var Harbor, invading is spelled wrong

Space Muunilist, CW Assault, CTD

Tusken team in Hunt is not localized, AI Tuskens and Jawas in all Tatooine modes are not localized

Magnaguards and SBDs both break into battle droid chunks when they die

Coruscant City and Geonosis Arena were cut from the pack, but I added descriptions for the others.

Exists in the game itself, but if I get a chance we'll do a fix for the CIS side.

The grenade HUD icon for the clone trooper in classic conquest is floating about in the middle of the screen. That's all I've found so far...

I'm playing this with Battlefront Extreme on, and there hasn't been any major problems yet, which is good. :P

Hello everyone! I am new to gametoast forums. :)

I have some bugs to report for this new patch. The list goes as follows:

Alderaan:
- Is missing load screen.
- GCW Conquest: the Rebellion side is missing the Rebel Vanguard and Marksman.

Bespin: Platforms:
- GCW XL: This mode will never end unless you either quit or exit to Windows. The reason is due to unlimited reinforcements and when all the command posts are captured, the countdown timer doesn't appear at all.

Kashyyyk: Docks:
- CW and GCW Conquest: There is no sound present.

Rhen Var: Citadel:
- CW and GCW XL: same reason as Bespin: Platforms.

Tatooine: Dune Sea:
- CW and GCW XL: The AI's don't spawn except for the Tusken Raiders.

Space Muunilist:
- Space Assault: Crashes to desktop.

The turrets are localized as "REPORT ME I'M A BUG!"

Recon droid pistol hud is the rep pistol

I'm not sure if it's been fixed in this version, but can someone check the commander's recon droid for me? Make sure it doesn't crash when you use its blaster/orbital strike/whatever?

Orbital strike always works for me. So it seems to work fine in this phoenix patch. Could be that all those explosions are overloading what your computer can handle.

Considering I just DL'd this patch today I can give a very brief list of bugs I know of. These are applicable to Concord dawn as this is my first map to test at the current time. Concord Dawn seems to be quite bug free except for Audio issues and a mode crash which I detail below.

Tie Fighters and X-Wings have no engine sounds. As well as no firing sounds. It's nice to have engine sounds. Feels bland wihtout it.

Imperial Commando DC-17 Rifle has no firing sound

Rebel Commanding officer pistol has no sound

Rebel Recon Trooper pistol has no firing sound

Rebel Speeder Tanks have no firing sound for their lasers and I think for their rockets too.

Hovernaut missiles and laser blasters have no sound (I don't mean the beam cannons on top, They're just fine)

Special Ops trooper Seismic Charge has no detonation sound. It used to in the even older versions.

Hero Assault mode will crash to desktop no matter what I do as soon as loading is done. I have booted up SWBFII more than once and tried again but to no avail. Someone should verify if it happens to them too on this map.

You have done well with Concord. It's a very solid map so far. With a those few fixes I'd call it complete as far as I can see.

More Bugs!

Naboo Plains GCW:

Crashes with fatel error

Naboo Prototype:

Pretty much all vehicles and turrets are un-localized

Haruun Kal:

That speeder in GCW the red and white, two man one. is all un-localized weapons and all.

There's Swamp Speeders in GCW

Methylan(Sp?):
In the base (Cp4) the lights have no texture. So they shine gray cones

Kamino: Tipoca City:
GCW Empire hero (Yuzy Dude) Unlocalized

The Whole Pack:
Droid Commander and Recon Droid pistol hud is a pic of a republic pistol

Droid Commander Orbital Droid's orbital strike is un-localized and it's shot is un-textured.

I also Received this e-mail from a Filefront user a while ago asking If I was one of the creators of The Convo Pack. (Why I don't know??)

Anyways he had a good suggestion so here it is
Hey, I'm not sure if you work on the conversion pack or not. If you
don't, then can you send this out to somebody that does? I was wondering
if somebody could change the clones on Rhen Var to Galactic Marines,
instead of the 501st, because I think tat would be cooler.

Coruscant: Jedi Temple:
- GCW Hero Assault crashes to desktop when you select your faction.

Dagobah: Swamps:
- CW and GCW Hunt: Swamp Wampas are classified as [NULL].

Geonosis: Spire:
- CW Conquest and CW Hunt: Geonosions are classified as [NULL].

Kamino: Tipoca City:
- CW and GCW XL crashes to desktop after loading.
- CW Hunt: Rogue Clones are classified as [NULL].

Kashyyyk: Beach Head:
- CW XL: Units' weapon is missing in first person mode.

Naboo: Plains:
- CW Hunt: B1 Battle Droid is unlocalized.

Naboo: Theed:
- CW Uber: Republic side is unlocalized except for the Naboo Guard.
- B1 Battle Droid is unlocalized.
- The sound is missing for the Republic side only.

Tatooine: Jabba's Palace:
- CW and GCW Hunt: No music (Is this even a bug?)
- No spawning points. Unit spawns in a random point on the map. (Done on purpose?)

Misc.:
- All Hero Assault maps are labeled as Space Assault on the load screen.
- Weapon sound is missing for the Republic and Imperial Commando on most maps.

I'm not opposed to that I guess. Since I'm not actually putting the Galactic Marines on Mygeeto (because I refuse to change a shipped mode) I might just do that.

I should think someone out there would have it for you. You ought to keep backups of everything. I've had my fair share of losses when it comes to game modding in general due to lack of backups of my work.

Anyway, I so far have put some time in testing both conquest and classic conquest in Tatooine dune sea.

Results:

Tatooine:Dune Sea (Conquest)

All of the starfighters have no sounds at all

The Imperial Recon Unit cannot lay down (Rebel Recon does, No problem there)

Imperial Commando DC-17 Rifle has no firing sound

Rebel Recon Unit Pistol has no sound

Clone "Scorch" unit has no sounds for either pistol or rifle

Clone Recon Trooper can't lay down

Droid Recon Unit Cannot lay down either

CIS Stap has no sound

Clone Wars era has pilots instead of engineers

Civil War era has no Commanding officers on the Rebel and Imperial sides



Tatooine:Dune Sea (Classic Conquest)

Clone Pilot Bolt caster makes no sound

Clone trooper EMP Grenade icon is shifted off into nearly the middle of the screen

Jet Trooper Jetpack has no sound

Super Battle droid tri-shot has no sound

Droid Sniper is Mis-named as assault droid and it's sniper rifle has no sound.

I actually found the files I needed in 1.75/1.76 at swbffiles. So that will kill a larger number of bugs due to missing sides (particularly in space)
Clone Recon Trooper can't lay down
Right now only the Rebel Chiss can lay down, and it'll be that way for awhile until I can figure out a way to get prone working halfway decent.
