Interesting idea of mine

Teancum you may have warned people to not mess up the mission.lvl but for those who love modding, I think it's entirely possible to create COnversion Pack mods to show some creatively. I don't know if Gametoast and SWBFFILES are buddies anymore but what if you guys told the FIlefront staff to make a section specifically on Conversion Pack. Although modding missions.lvl for yourself isn't an advantage in MP (because then everyone would have to download that specific mission.lvl) at least people get a different taste of your Conversion Pack while maintaining the original mission.lvl you created for your teams.
How about it?
I'm thinking of doing one as long as I save the original Conversion Pack's mission.lvl....until December or November.

No offense, but you're a little out of it. Penguin_Unit (the head staff of FF) is at war with GT over the BF1 Convo Pack making claims that it will ruin the game or that its illegal or whatever (don't know why). Recently he apologized and all of the other staff members are GT members here so the answer is a maybe.
But I don't entirely understand your concept in editing the mission.lvl. What exactly are you planning to do?

we should tell Penguin_Unit that the Con. Pack is completely legal and remind him that it causes crashes cus it is still a WORK IN PROGRESS.

I take it no one here is a staff member from Filefront?

Basically, all I want to do is make some side mods using the Conversion Pack's mission.lvl. As long as I backup the original files, then all is good. Besides, Teancum has recently posted a list of units to show players which unit is which.
For example, rather than have 25 SBDs spawn as the majority...I might switch that to Engineer Droids. It's simple and overall would have no problem with the exception to MP.

The only issue I have is that I won't be releasing any more source files, and the Convo Pack uses a LOT of custom LUA tricks to make things work right.

No, 7 outta 8 of the staff there are GTers.
And I thought P_U apologized and was done being against the convo pack.

He apologized because I sent an email to the head of Filefront.

Ah, I see so it was more like a forced apologie. Well then that means he really isn't sorry at all.
