Hey everyone. I've been using a Turtle Beach Earforce X12 headset for over a year now and it's been working fine. However, recently it has been emitting some really loud static sounds every few minutes. It seems to happen randomly. These sounds hurt my ears and it has become difficult to work on or watch videos.
As I work on it, I've noticed that the sound is often emitted when I pull the headphones out to put on my head. It also still emits randomly. I have not made any recent adjustments to my audio setup. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Check all connections and wires for damage, if you haven't.

Do what CressAlbane said; if all is lost, pick these up, they're the top headphones on Amazon and they're amazing. If you don't have that kind of money, save up for it, they're totally worth it.

Re: Headset Noise Problems
I checked my cables and they're fine. It seems to be an internal cord problem. When I wiggle the cord around, the static noise follows. The noise has been going down within the past day or two, but it still exists.
If it gets bad enough, I might just invest in that pair you mentioned Marth. I was looking to get a wireless pair but I think wired will be fine.
