BF2 Crashes [Solved]
For some reason my BF2 game keeps crashing before it loads the map. I have a
Compaq Presario CQ5500Y
Windows 7.
2 gb ram
500gb memory

do you play it in compatibly mod or xp mod?? only on win 7 it won't work

I dont use compatibility mode at all, and i have Windows 7

I dont use compatibility i have sound on i dont have sound mixer on i got the 1.1 version of the game updated with the unofficial 1.3 patch the new one and thats all i got so far

Go to the Start Menu>Control Panel. Click on Hardware and Sound. Go to Manage Audio Devices. Click on the Recording Tab. Right Click and select Show Disabled Audio Devices. Enable any of the disabled audio devices (There should be at least one).
