This is possibly the most obnoxious virus I've ever seen. If you ever see a url or link that has
on.nimp.org in it, bad stuff goes down:
You've been warned.

Its not a virus, just an annoying Java script that hijacks your browser to do that. It's meant as a trolling site, think more advanced RickRolling.
EDIT: the original nimp. org would just bounce your browser around and play a RickRoll vid. Attempting to shut it down would make the lyrics popup in warning boxes. Its actually quite funny and inventive. The one you describe though does sound horrible.
