My brother once had a really good and expensive gaming headset and it broke after like 3 or 4 weeks. I have a 15€ headset for 3 years or so now, the mic broke but everything else still works.
For me a mediocre headset with sound output and maybe a mic will do, i dont need 10 000 buttons to adjust whatnot. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't waste my money on it. It looks good, but it seems that there's probably some features that you won't ever touch. If you want it, buy it, but I wouldn't. I think that type of headset is for, I don't really know.....I don't see the difference between a regular Logitech headset and this pumped up one, other than more buttons, higher price tag, and greater weight. They both serve the same purpose and should be good at what they do.

Based off the description there, the headset shouldn't be a total ripoff, but to me I just see a headset with better sound, and if I compare two Logitech headsets, one the G35, and one a standard headset, I don't think I'll be able to tell the difference. This is just my opinion though.
