Firefox Facebook Problem

I've just encountered this problem today and it seems that when I log into Facebook with Firefox it wont let me see who's online or my notifications (well, it will let me see my notifications but it'll go to the page and not the box). It seems to be only a problem with Firefox cuz it'll allow me to do it on Explorer but not Firefox. I've tried reinstalling Firefox but that doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone have any fixes for this?

Are you using any addons, such as NoScript, Greasemonkey, or Adblock?

Nope. The only add-ons I have are the Java Console and the United States English Dictionary.
EDIT:
Alright, actually it appears to be working now, dunno why it wasn't earlier. Can a mod or admin please lock this?

Before this is locked I'd just like to say that facebook is very unpredicatble, and that it frequently won't work correctly. But I'm sure you knew that
Google Chrome is another great browser and I noticed that it seems to work well with facebook overall. Something to think about when it won't work correctly again

I've used Chrome before but I much rather prefer Firefox.

Before someone locks this, Every time i get an IM on Facebook, FF freezes for a long time, and when i go to type, the text staggers, and the browser freezes, basically I can use facebook fine until i get a message, then i have to exit out of my browser manually and restart facebook in IE.
Does anyone ahve a fix? Clearing cookies and TIF'ss hasn't had any effect on it. I run grease monkey, but nothing i have runs on facebook.

. Firefox is good too in my opinion.

I find it strange that you have better luck in IE than firefox at times. With me it's usually the opposite. To be honest with all the problems Facebook has I wouldn't rule out the fact that it's not on your end but theirs. And I hate say it but the problems sometimes go away within a day or two (but I realize that doesn't help

)
And I'm no PC technician so take this with a grain of salt, but registry errors can bog a PC down, along with a lot of hard drive clutter. Fixing these two things usually make PCs run faster in general so its' something to consider.
