Ps2 games on PS3?

Hey I just want to drop in a question.

Is it possible to play a Playstation 2 game on a Playstation 3?

Because I mistakely ordered Battlefront II for PS2 not for PC.

Now I am not sure if it could work.

Anyone who have an idea/jawa ( :jawa: ), tell me, thanks

It completely depends which version of the PS3 you bought. From the first release; the cheapest didn't support ps2 while the most expensive one did. Check the box of your ps3 to find out.

How long ago did you buy it? If you have a slim, or if you bought a normal one after the slim came out, then there is an absolute 0% chance of it working.

If you mean the PS3, I bought it a week after it came out.
It was the 1.0, the old, but beautiful black one.
