Linux .exe problem

Okay here's my prob:

I did a little research and found some games that will run on Linux, but when I download anything (it dodesn't have to be a game) it will open the file in an Archive Manager and not just run the program. To be specific here is what I got when I downloaded the America's Army Client:

[/home/connor/Desktop/AA3DeployInstaller.exe]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/connor/Desktop/AA3DeployInstaller.exe or
/home/connor/Desktop/AA3DeployInstaller.exe.zip, and cannot find /home/connor/Desktop/AA3DeployInstaller.exe.ZIP, period.

Do I need 7-Zip? If I do it just happens the same as before.

In a nutshell, I CAN'T INSTALL ANYTHING!! AAGGHHHHH!!! :runaway:

EDIT: Okay I just downloaded another game and all it did when I clicked on the installation thing, it just opened the entire file for viewing. In the Archive Manager.

Linux doesn't run .exe files. .exe files are for Windows, and the only way you can run them in Linux is through a Windows Emulator, like Wine.
