Monitor says "out of range" when booting

Hey, so my monitor says "out of range" when it's booting and I'm not sure what to do about it. I've tried a couple methods like going into Safe Mode and turning down the resolution on my computer to 680x480 but that still doesn't help any. I've also tried pressing F8 while booting and turning down the res from there but that doesn't work either. So my dad said to try and uninstall the nividia driver and I did that but now I'm not sure how to reinstall it. Does anyone know how to reinstall it? I've tried clicking on the reinstall button but I'm not sure what to do on it.

I'm also running on a Vista with Windows XP OS. Any solutions would greatly help.

EDIT:
Alright, I got my problem fixed so I guess this can be locked.
