Logic error. Does not compute.

None of the free video capture programs I'm familiar with (hypercam, Fraps, Xfire) require you to use the internet to capture video. All of them require the internet to download (just like everything else, of course).

So what is your point? That doesn't change anything.

I believe Mav's point is thus: Why ask about a downloadable program for a computer that can't connect to the internet?

I'd say Fraps will be your best bet for actual ingame video recording as it is coded for that specific need. Camtasia is going to be an awesome tool for desktop recording, just as an fyi.

Why do videos in fraps not record for the whole game?

You will need the registered version to be able to do that. The unregistered version only allows 30 seconds I think.

Like AQT wrote plus the Size would be immense. If i record with Fraps a 5 Min Vid in SWBF-2 ,the size is more than 5GB in .avi fraps Format (needs to be conveted after recording to -standard-.avi File)
Although it depends on Highest Quality and Best Ingame Settings then You would need 1TB.
