i don't know if you've already done this, but check your BF2 directory's in the right place. you can change it in the options tab at the top. give it a try, but i can't say it definitely will work
It is, I've checked that, I've searched all over the web for about 30 min and haven't found anything. I'm going to try a space map and see if that works though.
Edit: It didn't work, It ends the process on rewriting LDX files though, I suspect this may have something to do about it.
We've had many topics about this in the past with no solution. A similar (but not necessarily connected) problem has occurred with ZE.
You have said that you have run VM as an administrator (though other than through an administrator account, I'm not sure how it works on XP, I know that in Vista, you can be on an admin account and yet still have to right-click and run as admin) and if you did that, it has no effect.
1. Building a space map should show no difference.
2. Try running ZE to see if you get an error with that (you may or may not).
3. When does the error appear? Does anything appear in the VM screen?
It appears when it's creating a new map in visual munge, right when it say changing ldx files,
I'll try just using the ze. I'll test different things and experiment for a while then see.
Edit: Okay, there is no error when just opening ze. But now how do I get the files for a map. Could someone maybe make a basic setup for a map in VM, Called ABC, then put the name as Secret hidden outpost, I then might be able to make a map etc. without doing the munge thing on my computer. Could someone do that, please. :Edit again: Also, it only happens a few seconds after I click create world.
Request: Could some do what it says in the last post for me. Just a conquest though.
EDIT
Also a note: It doesn't work from the first time doing it, it doesn't create the mod file which you then use that mung thing in it again. Also, what is that temp data thing?
Please help with doing the mung the 1st time like requested :please:
EDIT2
All I did was disable my antivirus (norton) and now it works. Tell others to do the same and there problems may be solved to.
