Windows XP not going into standby

I have windows XP and it's not going into Standby when I click standby I get this error message


The device driver for the Terminal Keyboard Driver device is preventing the machine from entering standby

Any idea how to fix?

I googled how to fix it and just disabled the drive now everything is all better I didn't feel like contacting microsoft and then getting charged to fix the problem

Microsoft online customer service is no charge.
