Well, I got a new internet provider back in January. It worked fine for about 2 months, but lately, it's been on the fritz. It will work for about half an hour, then disconnect and be unable to reconnect until I restart the computer. Does anybody know what the cause is and/or how to fix it?

Step One: Call your ISP.

Step Two: Google.

There probably won't be a step three.

Theres not much we can do unless you post stuff like router logs lol. Yeah, best bet is to call your ISP.
