I have read many tutorials on how to get videos on to the PSP, and I have some avi's, two mp4's and they are in a folder named VIDEO (I have tried VIDEOS and Video). The memory card has shown decreased space, so I know the videos are on there, but I can't get the videos to show up on the PSP. It just says "There are no videos etc." Anyone got any ideas? Also it is a PSP that has been opened, as a friend gave it to me with a broken screen so I had to replace that (really good deal when you think about it)
Any suggestions are welcome

Re: Video folder for the PSP
Read your user manual, it tells you what you need to know.

Re: Video folder for the PSP
I did, well at least the one that was online (I don't have the original since my friend didn't give it to me) It was from the Sony site and it told me how to do it, but it doesn't seem to work.

Re: Video folder for the PSP
PSP does not play .avi files. It only supports .mp4, and only certain encoded formats of .mp4.
You'll have to convert the videos to a readable format. 3GP converter, or this:
http://pspslimhacks.com/pspvc-v360-released/ <---Windows tool for converting videos to .mp4 PSP format. (IF admins don't want any link to this site just remove it, but they run a clean site, no warez discussions allowed there)

Re: Video folder for the PSP
Ok the guide mislead me, it told me that it could do .avi but I figured out my problem
It does not go in the PSP folder, but beside it, the manual didn't seem to make that clear. Problem solved, thanks for all your help
