Runtime Error while Making New Map

I try to make a new map, and after awhile, this pops up:

Program: C:\BF2_ModTools\data\_BUILD\Modtools VisualMunge.exe

This program has asked Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Then it just closes Visual Munge. Any ideas?

No, I have Windows XP.

Yes, I have now, and I STILL get the error.

EDIT: I just realized something: everytime it gives me that error, it's always when it says "Rewriting LDX Files..." or whatever. Does that help at all?

I just thought of something:
I downloaded the Mod Tools installer onto my F drive (BF2 (and the Mod Tools) are on my C drive). Would that effect anything?

Ya, I get that problem all the time on my Vista, but it did work on my Windows XP. But I rarely use that computer since its a lot slower than my Vista.

That's informative, but none of this is helping. No one has ANY idea how to fix this? How would you fix it if I was using Vista? I could try and use my mom's old Laptop, it's an XP.

I get that exact same thing, I hate it, I can't find why, some people say to download this one thing but i don't know.
