Hello people,
I own a 30gb iPod (the fat one that plays videos), and as the title says, I am wondering if I somehow could take the songs from that iPod, and put them on my new computer. The songs that are on my iPod are of course stored on my old computer, but since its operating system died, I can't move any files out of it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Is it possible to extract songs from a iPod onto a computer?

YamiPod
Scroll down to where it says 'Binaries' and you'll find a download link.
Worked wonderfully with my sister's iPod.

Or just plug in the ipod, open it in windows explorer, make sure view hidden files and folders is on and viola. Poke around the folders until you find several with music files in them. The songs will be named odd things like ZDGK.mp3 and such but itunes will still name them right. @mods, purchased music will only work on a computer registered with the itunes account they were purchased on, so it's legal to do this.
