Ok, so my dad wiped the computer, and i just reinstalled xfire and SWBF2, but when i went to make a addon folder, it said "Cannot create new folder, access is denied" i know the disk is read only but i dont have th disk in. Before my dad wiped the comp, i was able to make new folders in the :C\ directory, any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Addon folder
Sounds like the user account he gave you wasn't given permission to create folders. See if you can make folders elsewhere like on the desktop.

Re: Can't create new folder
A potential workaround for this would be to open up any program that lets you search for files - e.g. Word, 3D Object Converter, notepad, whatever - and browse for a file. While you're browsing, use the "new folder" button in there to create a new folder.
I don't know for sure whether it would work, but I remember hearing about this workaround some years ago for someone else's similar situation.
