Crysis Issues

I get this weird stuff all the time. Just random gray shapes somewhere. Sometimes in my Field of vision, sometimes, like this one, covering something (in this case a US Soldier).

Also, Prophet's face tends to dissapear alot, with me only seeing his eyeballs and teeth (kinda funny sometimes, actually)

Anyone else have these issues? Know how to fix them?

-Nvidia GeForce 7950 GT (512MB)
-Latest driver.
-'tisn't a mod map
-Resolution 1024X768, Physics on High, everything else on Low.
-I have installed the 1.1 Patch
-This only seems to happen when there are other friendly soldiers around, or online.
-Sometimes, If I jiggle the mouse/look around really fast, it goes away.

Any Ideas?

Looks like a GPU prob. Have you always had this card? Are you overclocking? Does your PSU support it (maybe too little watts)? Is the GPU fan clean and free of dust? I'll think of a few more questions later. I had a card give me artifacts like that and it turned out my cheep PSU was the prob, so that's why the PSU question was asked. I know Crysis is a very intensive game on sys specs, so are you running the min or somwhere in between?

I think it's getting enough Power, because other games don't have this issue. I do have the Minimum CPU to run the game (Intel Pentium 4).

So you have a 350w+ PSU with a +12v at a minimum of 22amps? CPU can also be another area, since this game is currently the Doom 3 of the year (A.K.A. need a state-of-the-art system to run it full with no probs when it first came out). My suggestion is never go with the min. Anything you have that hits the games min specs is bound to cause trouble. I'm playing TR and my mem is the bare min. It is choppy occationally and load times are horrendous (And I have all the graphics set to low). Everything else is mid range. When it comes to games, it only runs as good as your lesser component (in this case it could be the CPU). Try also updating drivers. Sometimes this works and sometime it doesn't. (very generic answer. It reminds me of a "Google is your friend" answer. )

Yours is underpowering. It is a ATX-305 305w PSU. Its enough to give it power, but not enough to supply it. The card alone uses a max 190 watts. Include Your cpu, hdd, optical drives, ext. it is underpowered. I would suggest upgrading your PSU to that specification or better. I would recommend an ultra x-finity ult-31847. It is a 600w for 54.99USD at tigerdirect.com. You don't neccessarily need that, but it does give you plenty of wiggle room for future upgrades. New GPUs are becoming power hogs. No matter what though, you need that PSU spec I gave.

That would make sense. It came with a power dongle that had two plugs, but one of the plugs wouldn't reach (we plugged in the other one). Would plugging the other plug in (somehow - Extension cord? LOL) give it enough power?

You could try, but I don't think it would help much. A lot of review sites brought up the PSU issueand they usually ranged from 300w-450w. If it works on a 300w, then that would be bare min and I hate bare min; You'll eventually run into probs somewhere down the line (just takes changing one component to through off the wattage and repeat your problem).
