Does anyone know where you going to increase the shared memory with the integrated GFX card?
I have a 6150SE with 128mb. I want to increasing for better performance until i get a new GFX card altogether.
Then when i get my new card will that memory go back? I have 2gb, but i can only use like 1.8gb. I'm pretty sure that will happen, but I'd like some opinions.

When I upgraded the graphics on a computer with 64mb integrated graphics, the 64mb came into the standard system memory instantly upon reboot, so it should work well.

(Also, how would I go about doing that? I want to do that on my computer as well. HP a1632x.)

If your motherboard supports it, the setting should be in your BIOS.

I went into BIOS and tried to set it higher but it only goes to 128. BUT, on the sticker that came on my computer when I bought it, it says Up to 256 MB... :|
