It has nothing to do with their respective authors, it has everything to do with the fact that a definition chunk was left out of the meshes created by MshEx (to simplify the number of things it had to iterate through) that is necessary to re-import them.

BTW, I've almost never used Mshex to export my models.

I'd assume that he used the Pandemic addon, but I could be wrong.

If you need any files converted to .obj, i could probably run it through bconstructor, I've never had problems importing with it.

Just make sure that you have authors permission to edit the model, otherwise I can't do it.

Technically, I employed the assistance of a person who could use the Pandemic addon.
