How do I upgrade my graphics card via the web?
I remember that someone said you could upgrade your graphics card through the web, but I don't how. So how do I do it?

A graphics card is hardware, you can't upgrade it. You are probably thinking about the drivers for a graphics card, which can be found through the website of the maker of the card.

oooh, Intel, i've had to deal with those before...
what you have highlighted is it, but i suggest that you use device manager for this
(when you hit start, type "device" into the run box, it'll pop up)
under display adapters, you'll see something like that. right click it>properties. then click on the "driver" tab, and "update driver" then click "automatically search the web" because Intel's aren't the best graphics card out there, this only works 1/2 of the time for me. if it found something, itll eventually go black then start up again and tell you it's been updated. if that doesn't happen, i suggest going to http://www.intel.com and click on the appropriate tabs until you find your driver. this seems like a long post for a simple answer, but it actually can take quite a while to figure out how to do this if you don't know that much about computer apps.

Windows Update generally does a good job about updating the graphics card drivers, at least in my experience it has. I know that it doesn't catch everything every time, so your best bet, as mentioned, is checking the manufacturer's web page, typing in you chip's name and updating the driver from there.
Why do you think you need to update the driver anyways?

Re: How do I upgrade my graphics card via the web?
I have an Intel(R) 945 GM Chipset and Windows Update doesn't update my graphics drivers. I have Windows XP and I just run the Intel Driver Update Utility and it detects and updates my driver automatically. I would suggest running it before anything else.
