Black lines a rainin' down my screen
Well, the title almost fully explains it. I have black horizontal lines moving down my screen when I play a game. This happened to a newly installed combat arms (which then ceased to work), and swbf2. Now the black lines don't show up in the safe mode of swbf2 or in halo:ce. Ive tried reinstalling swbf2, and it didn't help at all. Can anyone help?

This is just a slightly-educated guess, but it might have to do with directx. Your other game may have tried to install a different version of directx (like an older one) and screwed it up. Try installing the newest directx and see if that helps.

List your graphic drivers, graphics card, and monitor.

if yer a windows user, head over to run and search device manager. (easiest way to find it) once there click the + next to display adapters and whats listed below is your graphics driver. now for advice, if its an intel driver i strongly urge you to update it as those can have bugs very often (mine does). if its not intel i would look on their site and still see if you can update it. updating the driver almost always works for me when i get annoying graphics bugs.Grev wrote:Im not a computer person. EDIT: ack sorry, in Dv.Manager the monitor can be found if you click on monitors. as for graphics card theres no difference between a driver and card. (please correct me if im wrong)
