Hi All,

After about 10 months of work, on and off, I'm very nearly ready to release my Galactic Conquests: Absolute Galactic Civil War & Absolute Imperial War! As the names suggest, they are matching conquests, one where you can play as the Rebels and one as the Empire (akin to Jaspo's Extended Galactic Conquest). These are the first of a series of Galactic Conquests that I have been working on, there will be more to follow.

I should be ready to release them in the next couple days, right now I'm just doing a few final tweaks to get everything perfect. I could use some help on this too (more on that later). Currently, here are a few highlights:

* Includes 38 unique planets, only 11 of which are stock planets
* Each planet location is correct based on SWGalaxyMap.com
* Includes 48 maps, including the 3 space maps and 9 stock maps
* Each planet has a unique camera zoom effect
* The Yavin model that plagues most custom galactic conquests has been fixed
* Disabled the enemy team from buying bonuses that will have no effect on them
* Dantooine, Rhen Var and Yavin all have multiple map options

I've tried to make these Galactic Conquests as professional looking as possible. I'm about 95% of the way there to that goal, but I could use a little help getting me over the line:

* Firstly, as I said above, I'm working on a number of Galactic Conquests at the moment, which will be released over the next few months or so. As a result, I'm going to run out of gc_## between 1-11 very quickly, especially as I'm avoiding using 3&4 (used by EGC), 5&6 (KoToR) and 11 (Dark Times). Currently, I'm using 7&8. With the current v1.3 patch, I can go above 11, but only with consecutive numbers, and as I'm sure many of you are aware, there's a bug in [RDH]Zerted's code which means only 1 works at a time. If anyone has a fix for this, I'd be grateful to know it please. I believe Anakin's Remastered has a fix, and while I haven't tried it yet I believe you have to have Remastered installed for it to work (if I'm wrong I'd like to know).

* Secondly, I'd quite like to retexture the different planets to give them a truly unique look. I've used every lighting and camera position trick I can think of to make them all look fairly unique , but I know it could be a bit better. If anyone is able to help me out with this, please help!

They're both things I can get away without for now, so I will publish without these fixes for now, but it's something I'm keen to do soon.

To make my Absolute War GCs, I've used what I think are some of the best mod maps out there to make it (I'd like to stress here that none of them belong to me, and all creators will be credited fully). To differentiate it, I've tried not to use many of the maps in Jaspo's EGC, though there are a couple of crossovers because I couldn't resist. I've also not restricted myself to only include real planets in the Star Wars universe, allowing me to include some brilliant maps like Kothlis and Pharosis.

Today, I have uploaded every mod map which will be required for these galactic conquests which ARE NOT ALREADY ON MODDB. Many of these are very old mods that can be very hard to find online these days. I have done this purely to spread the joy of these maps to a potential new audience, and to make it easier for downloads for my GC (now every map is on Moddb). All original creators have been credited, I take no credit in them at all. These have been uploaded here.

Yes it's a lot of levels, but so is the list needed for EGC, and just like EGC, every map on here is worth having regardless.
