Hide and Seek

As the name suggests, this mod adds a hide and seek gamemode to every stock map. For the first thirty seconds, the hiders can find a spot and the seekers are blinded (in MP they just die). After that thirty seconds, the seekers have 3 minutes to find everyone. When a seeker touches a hider, the hider becomes a seeker as well so they can also go and seek people. When there is one hider left, a message appears and that hider gets a fancy effect that follows them (effect only works for host in MP). If all the hiders are found in the time allotted, then they win! If not, then the hiders win. If you find any bugs feel free to report them. Also, if you want your map featured, just send me your lua.

[hide]This adds a Hide and Seek gamemode to all stock maps.

To install:

After unzipping, place the HNS folder inside of your addon folder, located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon

It will appear as a new mode for Mos Eisley. I recommend playing this with people.
If you don't play it with other people, it won't work.

To uninstall:

Delete the HNS folder from:

This will be a lot of fun in MP. It's also begging for a custom map that people don't know by heart!

How does the finding work? Is it just when they are close enough or is there a "touch" weapon?

When they are close enough. I thought about a touch weapon but you can't use that when falling.

Very interesting concept, brings back a couple childhood memories since even in my generation people used to play this game a lot even with the technological boom in the 1990s when more and more people were reserved to computers and game consoles rather than outdoor activities. As I was saying before, glad to see someone brought an old concept in real life into a game, really is cool to me!

As of a few years ago in college, we still played real life Capture the Flag and Sardines (like Hide and Seek except when you find the person you hide next to them).

Why does the effect only work for host in MP?
