Hey GT. What I am releasing today is this mod that has been on my list of unfinished projects for a while now. I originally started it in late 2008 with the intention of it being an era mod having Imperial Clones versus Rebels. Then I decided to do something based on The Force Unleashed. Since then several other mods also focusing on the time period between ROTS and ANH has been released. I was working on this mod on and off and then stopped. But just a few days ago I resumed work and using the new skills and resources that I have acquired decided to wrap it up and came up with this "test" map. So here are some screenshots:

BIRTH OF THE REBELLION "TEST" MAP - by AQT
What it is:
----------------------------------------
This was originally intended to be an era mod with its start during late 2008.
Due to lost of interest and the release of other era mods also taking place during this time period (between ROTS and ANH), this "test" map was the result.
- Play as either Kota's Militia or the Empire
- Playable only on Conquest mode
- Sides were based off those included with The Exile's Voyage mod
- Map is a conversion of SWBF1 Bespin: Cloud City
- No hero units for either side
- Map will appear in Instant Action list as Birth of the Rebellion
Extract the BTR folder from the archive into your Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon folder. Deleted it to uninstall.
Note:
----------------------------------------
This is the last you will see of this mod.
There shouldn't be any bugs.

This looks nice. I'm doing a TFU-style Jedi Temple right now.

Awesome! Is the big bulky Dark Trooper supposed to be a Purge Trooper?

Yes.

Yep, genaral_mitch is right, that is a Purge Trooper. This test map will be the only rendition of this mod that'll ever be released. I just want to get it off my chest so I can start my next planned project.

The purge trooper is pretty good. Except for their rocket launchers.

Wow. This looks great. Is this really going to be the first and the last of it? It would make a REALLY good era mod.

The new units look awesome... especially Kota's Militia side, and the new weapons. Looks like you put a lot of work in to this.
I also like the idea of not having any hero units, makes the sides more important.
Downloading now.

If you read the first post properly you probably wouldn't have asked that. It is not a mod. It is a converted map with some different sides. (Very good sides BTW).

You just gave whole new meaning to the word 'hyperbole'.

No, they were made by Syth and he released them in the Battlefront Project model pack HERE.
Jendo7 wrote:Looks like you put a lot of work in to this.
Thanks, but I already did most work when I developed the Exile's Voyage.
Lagomorphia wrote:It is a converted map with some different sides.
Well the map's not really the main focus though. I thought Bespin: Cloud City was a very balanced map (and still do) so that's why I chose it to develop the sides on and release with.

I don't know how to install... Do I just use 7-zip on the Zip folder itself? My reason to ask is because it wouldn't allow me to use 7-zip on the file inside the folder. Thanks!

You can use 7-Zip on the .zip but the file on the inside is an .exe which doesn't require any additional programs to run. It's self-extracting.
