The Exile's Voyage

Post by AQT »

If you all remember several months ago, I had this test map out featuring Imperials fighting Death Watch guys on an Endor setting map. It has now become a mediocre era mod. This adds Extended Civil War Conquest to the stock Endor and Naboo map. Endor features extensively updated sides from the test map and Naboo is something new.

Here are some screenshots (courtesy of Nova Hawk):

Please do note, EV is my story. ;) Until I am able to map/mod again, this is what you get. AQT worked hard with the material, so be sure to thank him. As such, I will certainly thank him a lot for doing this. Not only is my RP character's story from SWG involved, but I'm sure AQT had a blast putting it together.

I only take credit for my story.

Due to a recent hard drive crash on the gaming comp, I've been paranoid on what goes on my computer. I only have one game on that one and it's Fallout 3.

When I get back to be able to do stuff, I'll let you guys know. And while this computer can't handle much, I could still map and transfer anything over if I need to.

Exile's Voyage. Hopefully this appeals to everyone. Great work, AQT! I'll be sure to play it as soon as I can.

I made a mistake. When I told you in my report "the Wraith lacks the proper durability to survive in combat", I, uh, actually meant... the Ghost... :? That was stupid of me, I did not pay attention to the unit names and now the Wraith may be a bit overpowered (Death Watch had almost all of the Command Posts in Endor), I'm sorry.

That's alright. I did do some testing though and the Wraith didn't seem too powerful when the AI uses it. As for the Ghost, he and his Imperial counterpart should balance out just fine since they basically have same everything (health included).

He changed nothing, just the sides.

And sorry about not replying to you, AQT. I must say that I've really enjoyed this and I think you've expertly managed to have an overpowered unit like the Inquisitor Dark Trooper by inserting a small rock-paper-scissor mechanic.
Beautifull custom sounds, you've created a great flow in the gameplay and all the small detail work you've done shows off. You may describe this as "mediocre" yourself, but I must say that this is even better than some/most of the "bigger" side mods.

The only small note I have is that the green rebel elite doesn't seem like a complete unit too me, the green isn't reflected in his helmet and why I understand why, I still think it could look better. (One other thing about that unit; his belly parts stretches a lot, just like the trooper he's based off, while your skin/the shiny map make it look like regular armor, which make it look a bit artificial.)

Very nice, guy. I'm a Skirata, so I don't like the Death Watch that much but they're well made, I have to say. Cool Skins, cool sounds, cool effects.
Is this gunner animation available??? I hate it when a trooper helds his minigun as high like a rifle when he shoots.
