Maloss: DT Conquest

Very simple (aka very small DL), Maloss with:

DT Era Conquest
Random Skies

Obviously you must have DT in your addon folder for it to work.
CW sides are being worked through slowly, so I figured I'd release this by itself.

There's no sound. It might be a corrupt download though, I will try again, be right back.

Edit: nope, just menu sounds, everything else is mute.

Yep,there are no sounds.

But,this is very useful if you have someone sleeping next to you.

Arrr crap sorry guys.....anyway here's a way to get all but afew sounds working:

Download the above file.
Replace the mission.lvl inside the FAI/LVL_PC Folder with the one in the above download.
Play.

Thanks for the fix and also the release, Skyhammer.

Maloss is a fitting setting for a DT match, as well as the symbolic advent of the Dark Times era to the mapping scene, hopefully we will see more quality maps like this using Mav's work in the near future.

From what I saw, you were missing saber sounds and some vehicle sounds. You will want to use this set of sounds (I thought I had mentioned that you will need some adjustment for the right sounds?):

As I (thought I had) mentioned before, I tweaked the sounds to make sure that more vehicle sound setups were available and so that saber sounds would be available all the time with GCW sounds. If you have any more questions about sounds not showing up, ask me.

Before you go on to adding units, look at where sound is added. You will want to add in the line:

ReadDataFile("..\\..\\addon\\BDT\\data\\_LVL_PC\\sound\\tes.lvl;tescw")

This will make sure that the CW-related sounds necessary for this mod are loaded in correctly. I spent a lot of time making sure that correct sounds showed up everywhere, so if you're wondering how to get a certain sound setup or if you have sounds not working quite right for something related to this, feel free to ask (there were some "addon" sound .lvls I had to make to make certain maps work correctly with certain vehicles, as well as making sure saber sounds appear for all the GCW sound .lvls).
Mainly my fault anyway, I added DT Conq to this map a while back and then basically left it as is.
Anyway glad you like the map. Just out of pure curiosity, was my way of setting up random skies (http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 27&t=18429) majorly different from yours?
