That was a fun map, still is.

Yes, I do wonder what the next map will be? *Looks for a raised eyebrow smilie to no avail*

Yeah, the guy giving you objectives isn't really meant to be any particular unit that actually appears on screen. Just think of him as sort of an imaginary guy who follows you around.Null_1138 wrote:I actually saw the sergeant die somewhere, but he still talks in the objectives, lol.

EPIC WIN. Both the map and D.U.C.K.'s comment.DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:requests go into the requestthread
And if I were requesting something it would go there.

Thanks, that's quite a compliment. It's funny, I was actually thinking the other day that I would love to create some sort of free-roam RPG-like map. However, first I need to finish up this series, since there are still at least five maps I'd like to do for it.Maveritchell wrote:Nice work on a simple campaign. I think this is at least as good as the stock campaigns, and your setting looked really nice and went along with the campaign well.
I'd love to see you write a story/RPG/extended-campaign map. Few people have done those, but they are absolutely my favorite kind of map, and you've shown that you've got the know-how to put one together.
For the first one: that may have just been an oversight on my part. I had the script set up so AI couldn't capture cp's at certain times, but I didn't think to make them uncapturable for the player. I guess I was just trusting that the player would follow directions, or get shot if they tried to jump ahead.Bantha55 wrote:But the first time I tried to play the campaign, it didn´t go on when I captured an enemy cp without destroying the sbds first.
The second time one droideka was shot by a teammate and the story didn´t go on either.
Am I the only one who had this problems at first?
Ok, it wasn´t my aim not too follow the directions; I just went too this overbusstop because they´re great for shooting from there but don´t get hit.Eggman wrote:For the first one: that may have just been an oversight on my part. For the second one, that's odd. The way it's set up, the story should move on no matter how the droidekas are destroyed. There were actually times where I don't think I killed a single one of them, but the objectives still moved on as long as somebody shot them.
