Yep, Moon(2009) was really good. First time I saw it tonight.

Re: Mass Effect: Unification (build 0705/02)
Small update-
Below, you will see the new particle trail for missiles that are not fired by the ML-77 Missile Launcher - the ones that emit this trail are fired by the Rocket Drone and the A-61 Mantis Gunship. Following that image is the newly environment-mapped scope on the M-8 Avenger Assault Rifle; the environment map is also applied to the scope on the M-92 Mantis and M-97 Viper Sniper Rifles.
These are only a couple of the many large changes that have been made.

I've never played Mass Effect nor have I played this mod. But I plan on playing the next version! Those screenshots look very nice. Will the new version have more ME maps implemented?

Play it! Plaaaay iiiiit! Don't make me indoctrinate you.
But really though, thanks!
The 1.1 patch includes, like, everything but new maps and factions.

Sincerely impressed: Those screenshots are quite visually pleasing, human. It truly excites me to think of your work.

Play the mod or the game(s)?Marth8880 wrote:Play it! Plaaaay iiiiit! Don't make me indoctrinate you.
I can't play the game at the moment so I'll try out your mod. The only problem I see at the moment is that I can't run .bat files so the part about all the resolutions really confuses me. I know I would use 16:9 .bat thing.
Could someone walk me through on how to install this (manually) without running the .bat files?

Re: Mass Effect: Unification (build 0705/02)
The .bat files are only there to change the scope textures to match people's resolution ratio. Running the bat isn't required to install it.
And Marth meant the mod, no need to wait.

How do you know you cannot run them? They're copying over a small file; all that happens is command prompt flashes open for a very split second and then it's done.kitfisto15678 wrote:I can't play the game at the moment so I'll try out your mod. Re: Mass Effect: Unification (build 0705/02)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you could also manually re-name and move the files on your own as well for the scope (it's just one file isn't it?).
Also, play mass effect, it's great stuff (all three of them, in order, do every side quest...all of it...).
Play the mod as well, it's also great stuff.

For some reason my wine doesn't like .bat files.Marth8880 wrote:How do you know you cannot run them? Could you elaborate on this? I might just do it this way.Dreadnot9 wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong, but you could also manually re-name and move the files on your own as well for the scope (it's just one file isn't it?).

Ohhh, you're using Wine? That could explain it, heh.
Well anyway, just navigate to the "ar" folder, then go into the folder regarding your aspect ratio (if it's 1610, go to the folder called "1610", etc.) and copy the file "ar.lvl" and paste it into the "ar" folder, overwriting the original "ar.lvl".

Yea. But it runs the things I need it to run so I'm not complaining.Marth8880 wrote:Ohhh, you're using Wine? That could explain it, heh.
Thanks! When I download it I'll do that. :plokoon:Marth8880 wrote: Well anyway, just navigate to the "ar" folder, then go into the folder regarding your aspect ratio (if it's 1610, go to the folder called "1610", etc.) and copy the file "ar.lvl" and paste it into the "ar" folder, overwriting the original "ar.lvl".

Re: Mass Effect: Unification (build 0705/02)
Not sure if it'll make the next version or not, but there's at least one more on the way. I've killed and restarted this map twice now. But it's definitely been worth it, I love this part of the ME3 campaign.kitfisto15678 wrote:Will the new version have more ME maps implemented?

To-do: Add custom Rannoch foliage, crashed and burning ships, fix collision and low-polyness, add nighttime environment to alternate with the dawn one, and some kind of Geth base. And maybe Quarians.

This. Please this.Fiodis wrote:And maybe Quarians.
Map looks very good by the way, you're adding foliage, which is good as it looks sparse as is.

Re: Mass Effect: Unification (build 0705/02)
Adding Quarians or not entirely comes down to finding someone to model them. Right now the only* modelers on the team are Marth and I, which, neither of us are really capable of unit modeling yet.
