WIP: RATTATAK ARENA (Vyse ,Lord Bandu and now Teancum)

WoW! from what I read Im getting much much more exited about this mod/map maybe this is the thing I need to make me stop playing BHDTS all the time and again start playing this game.I cant wait for the new characters especially the magna gaurds with their staffs bieng the same sound as in III. gtpwn gtpwn

I finished all of the work on the new units, and Squipple is in the process of making a minimap, so let's all bug Bandu to finish up the models.

(Just kidding, don't actually bug him)

ive just finished reading every single page- i didnt play KotoR, but these new characters you mentioned are the same as the ones released in the pack that you released a few days ago?? i know you may add new ones, but i just wanted to know that

Yeah, same dudes. Rattatak will have much more than just KotOR hero assault though.

exelent!! i love those heroes.
Another question, will the Arena monsters appear?? i couldn't understand this very well in other posts.

yeah cool but you shuld give the new units names and they should not be without them like your recon/commander-units

Well, not the monsters in the cartoons. We made new bad guys to replace them since we couldn't spend the time making models for all the monsters.

Is this map's release date on the same date as the SWBF 1 conversion pack 1.1 patch is? Cos this map is listed in the patch.

I can't say for 100% certainty, but I would just say it's safe to say that you should all wait for it until the release of the 1.1 patch. That gives us more time to get it right. This map WILL be released, as the three of us have put a lot of time and effort into this map. The three of us are more excited than any of you for this, trust me.

That jedi in the screenshot is Revan, BTW.

Once I can get Gametoast working on my home PC (I have about 6 or 7 sites that don't work, I'm sure I've got a trojan or something) I'll post quite a few screenshots so you guys can see what it really looks like.

AH, Tean', just a question about the mini-map. You guys mentioned earlier that the map will have three levels *or something like that*. How would this work on the mini-map? Diffrent colors for each level?

The mini-map won't actually show multiple levels. Squipple did a really awesome job on it however. It's in game and fully functional.

@ moncal -- I'm a bit confused. If you're talking about a web server, yes. If it's a BF2 server, no GT doesn't have one. They're like 80 bucks a month. Wish we did have a server, though.

As soon as i release the alpha of Duel of the Fates i will complete Rattatak.

However , Im consentrating my spare time on FirstStrike (sw battlefield 2 mod , http://www.totalbf2.com/firststrike/ ) for the time being so im not doin any SWBF2 modding for a little while.
