If your team is smaller, you should be taking *more* time to publish a release, not *less* time.JimmyAngler wrote:Well, I have realized that my mod team is very small and so things need to be rushed a little. If I had a larger team, things would probably move along slower, but with more homemade models.
Yes.JimmyAngler wrote:Is it really Illegal to use ripped models even if 343 gets the credit?
Take a step back for a moment and try to think things through. You've been working on this mod for what, a few months? Fall starts on the 21st of September, which gives you exactly four months to get *everything* done. While developing MEU, it took us over a year and a half to push out just one crappy, cheap, half-a**ed release (R1) - and guess what? We were rushing in the end right before its release date. Not only that, but MEU's team was initially pretty large-ish with two active mappers and around four active artists. With what little we've seen thus far, you'd might as well delay your release by at least 6-12 months. Trust me, the extra time will feel like a HUGE relief and stress release. I'd know. (Not sure if that's a good thing, either. I don't feel like I'm rushing, there still is hundreds of things to be done.
Please don't think I'm attacking you or anything like that, because I'm not. I just don't want to see something that could be great turn out to be something trashy and rushed (like MEU R1). Please, don't be EA and rush things. Nobody likes EA.
