In object mode of zero editor go to multi select and select any ol' odf or msh then at the bottom look at save as obj. Cool isn't it. now go to your sides folder add a side then load a msh of your favorite vehicle or a character, vala instant character export and/or ships too. Have fun and for the lucky people who have xsi found. you could put then back into the game. If the msh looks funny in the ze it's okay it exports fine, occasionaly you'll get some extra spheres but they're no big deal!

Oh this is perfect. Could somebody with xsi save all four parts of the imperial star destroyer as in object, load it in XSI and then edit in a second hangar? I really need this for my Endor map.

for some reason though sometimes random spheres form, have any of you come across these?

The random spheres are collision files. You can probably ignore them.

how?
edit: maybe by turning accurate collision off never mind, have you guys figured out retexturing the models yet? i couldn't figure it out.

I feel so stupid because I don't understand. I'm not familiar with modeling at all. Mapping is all I can do.

1. open ZE
2. click "object"
3. place an object
4. click "multi select"
5. select an object
6. click the button "save object"
7. now you saved an XXX.obj file that can be read by XSI foundation!

penguin, you wont make a female jedi, itll be made for you, pandemic made it. i think it would be best if people couldnt import models, they should make thier own, not take someone elses art and claim it as thier own.

O.o never said i was going to claim it as mine, i said "now i can make myself a female model!"

Were not all "experts" so it would be nice to be able to bring in the meshes to see how they were made etc. and if someone ends up taking credit a quick kind PM could will correct them. So, all is good.
@drummerzoid1
Excellent find!! Thank you sooo much!

well guess what, you dont get any of the hierarchy, no animations, just the model and its all messed up, but not quite as bad as it would be from bconstructor.

It's funny, I noticed this two nights ago but I didn't explore the possibilities because I assumed that if it was what I thought it was, people would have been talking about it. Great job on the find drummerzoid1!!
